Our July Read - At Home

Change of plans - there were not enough copies for
Mr. Rosenblum Dreams in English, so we will be reading

Bill Bryson's At Home: a Short History of Private Life for our July 2 gathering.
There is a copy waiting for you at the library.
See you then!

Our June Read - Little Princes

I hope everyone is enjoying Little Princes by Conor Grennan -

a good break after The Hypnotist and Turn of the Screw. Someone doing something good for children.

Here's the author's website if you want to learn more: http://www.nextgenerationnepal.org/

There is a small scheduling conflict with our meeting on June 4th. The Carnation Library is having a 4 week genealogy class each Monday in June 6:30-7:30.
Would you all mind starting at 7:30 on the 4th, instead of at 7?

See you then!

Our February Read - Lost in Shangri-La

Everyone should have their copy of Lost in Shangri-La by now. Hope you're all enjoying it.
The author's website has an intro to the book with some interesting film footage.

If you'd like to continue on with our theme of shipwrecks and survival, I can recommend a book I just finished, Island of the Lost: Shipwrecked at the Edge of the World by marine historian Joan Druett.

See you Monday, February 6th at 7pm.
